The wine has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, complex flavors of plum and cherry with a hint of tobacco. Typical of Primitivo is the pleasant subtle spice. The Vigne Vecchie Primitivo di Manduria has a full-bodied, soft character and offers notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.

Exuberant bouquet of spring flowers and herbs intermixed with a core of black fruits, kirsch, crushed plums, and black currants on the nose. On the palate the aromas of black fruits are well transcribed and finely delineated, supported by a firm and grainy tannic structure leading to a spicy and mineral finish that is as long as it is persistent.
